Doctors Lisa and Tina's family have been a part of the Waukee Community
for over 40 years, when their parents moved to Waukee in 1966. Lisa R. Kurtz, DDS Dr. Lisa graduated from Waukee High School in 1981 and went on to attend the
University of Iowa, where she graduated from Dental School in 1991. Lisa and
her husband have three daughters, two attend the University of Iowa and the
youngest is an upperclassman at Waukee High School. Tina S. Kurtz, DDS Dr. Tina graduated from Waukee High School in 1991 and went on to attend the
University of Iowa, where she graduated from Dental School in 2001. Tina and
her husband have three children together.
FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANTS Donna Resch Donna is a
Registered Expanded Functions Dental Assisant.She is currently the Office Manager at Waukee Family Dentistry and has
been with Dr. Kurtz for 11 years.Donna
has worked in dentistry for 40 years in both chairside and front office dentistry.She is a graduate of DMACC’s dental
assisting program.Donna enjoys
boating & spending time with her husband, 2 children, & 3
grandchildren.
Alysha Mash Alysha is a
Registered Expanded Functions Dental Assistant.She has been cross trained with Dr. Kurtz for both chairside and
front office dentistry.Alysha
graduated from DMACC’s dental assisting program in 2001, and has been employed
with Dr. Kurtz for those 8 years.Alysha resides in her hometown of Waukee with her husband and 2 children,
she enjoys scrapbooking in her free time.
Christina Heinz Christina is a Registered Expanded
Functions Dental Assistant.She has
been cross trained with Dr. Kurtz for both chairside and front office
dentistry.Christina graduated from
DMACC’s dental assisting program in 2004, and has been employed with Dr. Kurtz
for 3 years. Christina enjoys baking and spending time with her husband and
daughter.
HYGIENISTS Karen Wilson Karen is a Registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from the
DMACC Dental Hygiene Program in 1997 and has been with Waukee Family Dentistry
for 9 years. Karen enjoys scrapbooking, traveling, & spending time with her
husband and 2 daughters.
Kelli Carlson Kelli is a Registered Dental Hygienist and graduated
from the DMACC Dental Hygiene Program in 2001. Kelli has been with Waukee
Family Dentistry for 5 years. She enjoys creating gourmet cuisines, taking in
the Des Moines culture, and spending time with her husband and 2 step
daughters.
CHAIRSIDE ASSISTANTS Rachel Bartz Rachel has been a Registered Expanded
Functions Dental Assistant for 11 years, and has been with Waukee Family
Dentistry for 1 year. Rachel enjoys reading in her free time between caring for
3 children and a husband/coach.
Tracy Weddle Tracy is a Registered Explanded
Functions Dental Assistant and graduated from the DMACC Dental Assisting Program
in 1992. Tracy has been with Waukee Family Dentistry for 10 years. She enjoys
camping and canoeing with family and friends, including her husband and 2
children.
Mary Hinton Mary is a Registered Expanded Functions Dental
Assistant and graduated from the Vatterott Dental Assisting Program in 2005 and
has been with Waukee Family Dentistry since that time. Mary enjoys gardening
and spending time with her husband, daughter, & dog.
Amy Hoyer Amy is a Registered Expanded Functions Dental Assistant and graduated from the DMACC Dental Assisting Program in 2001. She has been with Waukee Family Dentistry since June of 2009. Amy enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her husband and 2 daughters.
